COVID–19 ANNOUNCEMENT
Given the present situation in the UK concerning the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, and in view of the Government’s recommendations, the committee of the Orchid Study Group has decided to postpone all scheduled talks, demonstrations and field-trips, including the planned Orchid Day, for the foreseeable future. This situation will be reviewed in July. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us for updates via the OSG website e-mail addresses, but above all, keep safe.

Owing to her recent visit to Rome and fears for Coronavirus, Leigh-Anne won’t be speaking at our next meeting, but, instead, Dr. Kevin L. Davies will deliver the postponed talk that was originally scheduled for January.

The Committee of the Orchid Study Group has unanimously decided to cancel this year’s Welsh Orchid Festival. We have waited until now in the hope that the Covid -19 situation might have improved. Given the ongoing nature of this pandemic and the threat it still poses to us all, we consider it prudent to postpone matters until next year. We will post any future announcements concerning the Festival here, once it is safe to go ahead.
